Gifts to The First Spiritualist Church of Onset, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible from any taxable portion of your income and/or estate, which results in reducing or even eliminating taxes entirely.
A will is a written declaration of how your assets are to be distributed after your passing. It is a formal legal document which must be prepared in compliance with the laws of the State in which you reside. A will allows you to select who will serve as your personal representative, or executor, of your estate. This representative must see to it that all taxes and final expenses are paid as well as distributing your assets to those you have named in your
will. A will can potentially lessen the estate taxes or even eliminate them entirely.
By remembering charities in your will, your estate can qualify for a charitable deduction which may save your estate significant taxes. The First Spiritualist Church of Onset is such a charitable organization, that we hope you will consider as a beneficiary of your estate.
